Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I hope this message finds you well. At our elementary school, we are dedicated to providing our students with the foundational life skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. To better support our young learners, we are seeking donations to fund essential resources that will help them develop critical skills in independence, social-emotional learning, math, technology, and language.

With your generous support, we hope to provide:

* Shoe-Tying Kits – Helping our youngest students gain confidence and independence by learning to tie their shoes.

* Social-Emotional Learning Tools – Including games and resources to help students navigate stressful situations and develop positive social interactions.

* Math Learning Games – Making counting and early math skills fun and engaging through hands-on activities.

* Coding Robots – Introducing students to basic programming concepts, sparking curiosity about future career possibilities.

* AI Language Translators – Breaking down language barriers to better support our many students who are learning English as a second language.

* Basic sewing skills kits for kids will help them learn about different types of fabrics (cotton, felt, and more.

Recognize basic sewing tools (scissors, needles, pins, measuring tape).

Knotting the thread at the end to avoid unravelling.

Learn how to sew on a button and use basic fasteners like snaps and Velcro.

These books can align to teach kids about emotional intelligence and personal growth. They can also be used to develop social-emotional skills while making things with their hands.
