My Project

Kindergarten is a special time in a child’s life! This is a crucial time for them to love school and build relationships with peers. By giving kids a hands-on approach to learning their letters and numbers, it will inspire them to have a desire to learn new content. Kids will learn letter sounds by playing with games and materials in which they can manipulate and learn to work with their peers as well. They can work in partners or small groups to practice applying number sense skills while learning to count using these materials. Students will be successful and enjoy coming to school when they are in an environment where they feel they can learn, make mistakes, make new friends, and feel loved. Providing opportunities for children to explore with hands on games and materials allows them to see that learning can be fun.
