Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are mostly ESOL students. They do not speak English and are new to the country. They are an eclectic group with diverse learning styles. They are enthusiastic and ready to learn in spite of the tough neighborhood and harsh circumstances that they come from. Many of them are new to the country and are in dire need of language skills acquisition. Our school has a high percentage of immigrant children who come from low-income homes and have no access to computers at home. I am sure that if they are given the opportunity to fill this skill deficit, they will surpass the expectations and become successful students. They are a hard-working bunch, and I am sure that they can reach their goals.

My Project

My classroom is composed of students who are new to the country and are lacking skills that are essential to their success in third grade and on state assessments. They need extra practice so they can learn the necessary language skills.

Help my students learn and catch up to their peers, so they can be successful this year!

My students are eager to learn and I know they can reach their goals if they are given the materials they need. Given the opportunity, I know they can surpass expectations and soar to great heights. Thank you in advance for your support of our classroom.
