Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special education teacher there are many items needed in the classroom in which they get used everyday and require to be replenished very often. Social emotional books are needed in my class to help support students whose behavior needs to be redirected. Crayons, markers, glue and paper is required to help complete classroom work and/or help with calm down activities. Folders and other organization items are needed to keep data on growth and be able to keep and show work that has been done throughout the year. Prizes for students who work hard and are motivated are also needed in my class to promote that sense of achieving personal success. All these items will tremendously support my students in various ways and will give them access to a learning environments that meets their needs as they are all different and require different supports.
