Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

working with children in school setting ages 5-12 a , pediatric occupational therapist often incorporate play into practice as a way of motivating their students and reduce any anxiety or incompetence they might feel toward academic and schoolperformance.

Play during the OT session can involve games, toys, puzzles, songs, handwriting, coloring or physical exercises.

In all cases, the goal of pediatric occupational therapy is not only to help children adequately progress.

An zOT could challenge them appropriately to assist the students to build self-esteem and confidence and become as independent as possible in academic and self care performance.
