My Project

This year for my DonorsChoose project, I am incorporating more peace and tranquility within the classroom to promote a more calm and grounding learning environment. Yoga helps improve memory function, academic performance and improves attention span within children. Studies revealed that Yoga for students has a positive effect on the nervous system and brain, thus promoting more positives minds and attitudes for successful learning. Items for this project include some child size yoga mats and kits for the students. Other items include disinfecting wipes, easel pads, pencils and other essentials for our everyday use. Your donations have built an entire kindergarten world, and I couldn't thank you enough!
