Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

After teaching PreK SPED for the last two years, I will be teaching a group of students that will be in fourth and fifth grade this upcoming school year. They will be in my reading/language arts for a two-hour block. Any student of any age is special and deserves a chance to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

What I hope to instill in all of the students will be the love of reading and writing.

While some already have the passion, some others don’t quite have it yet. One period will house general education students, with a few ESOL and/or ESE students, while the other two-hour block will house students that are in the Gifted Program.

My Project

My fourth and fifth grade students will feel comfortable learning in style with Urban Mod 24 Inch Bar Stools set of four during differentiated instruction, intervention, and guided reading. The indoor outdoor metal, powder blue distressed stools are steady and will hold their weight. The seven kids lap desk trays portable activity tables will come in handy when small groups are called to learn by the Promethean board.

These flexible seating arrangements will facilitate visual and audio proximity.

The learners' self esteem and excitement will increase and as a result of the exposure to non traditional seating arrangements. It motivates them to excel and continue to grow
