Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are so many benefits of being bilingual and biliterate. My school believes in developing multilingual learners by immersing in a second language. Many of the students in my classes are only exposed to Spanish language while in school. It is important that we provide as much hands-on language learning tools such as games, bilingual dictionaries and books to support their language acquisition. Games are an engaging and low-stakes way of learning a new language. All of the tools selected will be used to enrich the classroom with Spanish-language resources.
