My Students

This is a very trying and stressful time during the pandemic. Keeping the children safe at school and feeling welcome is what I strive to do every day. We have many students at our school who attend both in-person and have virtual learning. Many students have had to switch at a moment's notice from in-person to virtual. Before winter break, our entire county went to "RED," we all had to teach and learn virtually. With the rising numbers of Covid in TN, we have to prepare each day to be ready to go "Red" again at any time. While we are in the classroom, I want to not only teach my student the standards and objectives but also learn about diversity in the world. We need to teach our students, understanding, empathy, and diversity. We need to learn about different cultures in our world and to love each other for who we are!

My Project

My students learn best with hands-on tools. Many of my students are different ability levels.

These hands on alphabet, number, and word puzzle games will help differentiate my lessons to assist all of my students' learning ability levels.

Many of my students fell below grade level during the pandemic. Some of my students are one to two years below grade level. These puzzles, alphabet games, number pegs and CVC word games will help my students raise their ability levels.

My classroom is busy and full of all types of learning ability levels. I want to build an atmosphere in my classroom that is welcoming. I want my students to feel safe, comfortable and relaxed in my classroom. I want them to feel their learning ability level is recognized and I will assist them in every way possible to help them be successful!
