My Project

Oh no! All of our supplies have went on strike because they were not being used properly or taken care of. The books in this project "On Strike" teaches the students how to take care of the supplies and use playground equipment properly.

These stories will help instill values like respect and responsible decision-making in children.

The goal is to read the book, followed by discussing the correct and incorrect ways to use the classroom supplies, and end with a worksheet that reinforces the skills to use the supplies correctly.

We will continue to practice as the school year goes along, but it is always easier to tie it back to an amazing read aloud that reminds us in a fun way why is it important to use classroom supplies correctly both in and outside of class.
