My students are severe autistic, some are completely nonverbal and have difficulty with expressing their feelings. Expressive language is very hard to teach and learn. The best way to teach it would be through play and learn.
My students can use these tools to learn how express themselves in a respectful and safe way.
They would love the the mirrors to be able to look at themselves and making faces can be fun. We love reading books and talking about them together, and playing games. All of these items would prove to be beneficial in my classroom.
