This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an art teacher in a title 1, urban middle school. In my first year I have introduced my students drawing, painting, and collage. Some have experienced making art. Many have not. We have worked with media from the previous teacher’s leftover supplies. We are lacking in certain media such as quality color pencils to teach value and blending. We have a very tight budget this year and so I am reaching out to ask for what did not fit financially into my order for next year. Thank you!
