Students at my school come together from many different backgrounds and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We have both self-contained Montessori classes and self-contained gifted classrooms, as well as our mainstream classrooms, so we are able to meet a large variety of learning styles and student needs.
My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with project-based curriculum, and hands-on learning experiences.
Our Makerspace is a place where we can come together and build while exploring concepts in science, the arts, engineering, and more.
My Project
With maps of the world and the US my students will be able to see where cultures come from and compare to the US! Using flags, I can pin each location we go over so by the end of the year they can see every place we learned about.
With work books I will be able to build projects that are hands on.
The more engaging my projects are, the more my students will learn! Each of these items will enhance my classroom and build on the learning experience for my students.
