Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting will allow my students' to express their creativity and not be limited to 8 colors. We currently have the 8 count of jumbo crayons, but as you know, our world is comprised of wonderful colors that are outside of the standard rainbow colors and black and brown.

My students are 4 and 5 years old in a TK classroom setting and want to let their imagination run wild but can't do so with a limited color range as well as broken materials.

Many of them, for their first time in school, interacting with writing materials. While they learn how to hold a pencil and not use too much force, etc., they need materials that will stand the test of time. With just a few months into school, we need new writing materials.
