This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten students are unique, fun-loving, and truly have a love for learning. My students constantly amaze me with their curiosity for the world around them. I teach in an Integrated Co-Taught class, which includes students with disabilities, English language learners, and students who come from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

My students have many different learning needs, and love to use interactive, hands-on materials!

They come to school everyday, excited about learning and would benefit from different educational materials to meet their needs and practice important skills.

My Project

As a part of our daily routine, my students work in small groups during center time to work on different learning skills. Our centers are differentiated and meet the needs of our many different learners.

My students are so excited to work in their centers, and would benefit from new tools and activities to use and explore.

The Osmo Genius Kit is used with an iPad, and students can work on building words, problem solving and creative thinking. What's great about Osmo is that students can work independently, or with others! The different center materials will help my students work on different skills which include; word families, vowels, sight words, rhyming, blends and digraphs.

My students would love the opportunity to get hands on and learn with these new and engaging activities. Center time will become more fun than it already is!
