My Project

My students come to class each day with enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to work together. They thrive in collaborative settings where they can share ideas and problem-solve as a team. These tools, that I've requested, will not only help strengthen the skills we’ve covered in whole-group lessons but also foster teamwork and communication, helping students build relationships with their peers while enhancing their learning experience. The games and activities will create a positive, hands-on learning environment that makes academic practice both enjoyable and impactful.

We are learning fundamentals with an element of FUN!

The goal of this project is to allow my students to apply their knowledge in a dynamic setting, reinforcing key concepts in literacy and math. By using magnetic foam letters and wooden letter tiles, students will enhance their letter recognition, spelling, and word-building skills. These activities will also help them understand word patterns and phonics rules, laying a solid foundation for their writing and reading abilities. The Word Shark and Silly Sentences games will make learning grammar and sentence structure exciting, allowing students to practice forming complete sentences while developing their vocabulary. Meanwhile, the Math Puzzles and Math Fraction Card Game will provide fun, hands-on ways for students to practice their math skills, such as solving puzzles and working with fractions in a way that feels like play rather than traditional practice.

These engaging, hands-on resources will allow my students to practice and reinforce the skills they have learned during whole-group lessons in a fun and interactive way during structured collaborative learning time.
