My Project

My students are some of the most inspirational students I have ever met. They have been through so much in their short lives, but are still striving to do BIG things in their future. We have been discussing the importance of history, and learning from others' past mistakes so we don't repeat them in our future.

Through reading the novel about a child similar in age, I am hoping to have history come to life and feel more real.

The Holocaust is an event in history that should never be forgotten and through connecting with the characters in the book, I am hoping it will stick with them forever.

Teacher pay teacher is an amazing resource that teachers use to find engaging units and lessons for their students. Gracious and talented individuals create beautiful content for us to purchase. By not creating everything from scratch, I have more time to focus on my students' individual needs.
