My Project

I am currently teaching at two different schools and have students K-5. This can be a struggle when it comes to getting supplies. My students learn differently than "the average." I work only with students with special needs and who have IEPs. My students are usually in the general education classroom, but need extra support from me!

Since I no longer have an actual classroom of students and I just pull students with Learning Disabilities, I do not get any of the school supplies or funding that a typical classroom teacher gets.

These materials will be used to help my students have other outlets for their learning.

I have several manipulatives and reading center games that I would love to put in the paper storage bins so that my students can easily see what I have in order to use it. I would also love erasable pens so students can learn to write with all types of different writing utensils but yet are still able to erase if need be. I would also like the index cards that are on a spiral so I am able to write my students’ sight words or basic facts that they can practice at home and at school whenever they have time and it is all in one place!

I am very excited to begin this year, but I also know it is going to have its challenges. Getting these supplies would be a huge weight lifted off my shoulders that I would love to be able to give my students. Thank you in advance for anything that you have donated to my classroom!
