My Project
Counting, number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, attention to task, fine motor skills, focus, and social skills all play an important part of financial literacy. The materials I’m requesting will support my students in moving forward with these skills.
Financial literacy is an essential skill for every child to learn!
Counting is an integral part of modern life, even if your child is a preschooler counting ice-cream scoops. Students need exposure, and I have the perfect setting to engage in learning financial literacy. As children grow and start to make choices, they know that people, things, and money have value. They will be able to count ice cream scoops to match to numbers as they increase their fine motor skills using the scoop. They will practice matching balls to numbers as they play with the see inside number tubes.
