Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each classroom has their own culture and learning climate. Teachers need to create a supportive culture and hold an affirming space for all of your students, individually and collectively.

Did you know that students are more likely to come to school when they feel safe, know that someone at the school cares about them, and when there are exciting and relevant lessons.

Families are more likely to to make sure their children are in class every day when they know school staff are looking out for their children’s best interest and when they understand the potentially adverse impact of absences.

These materials will help teach parallel lessons in a classroom with students with special needs. It will help provide a supportive culture where all students can learn.
