Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Exposure to academic language, vocabulary building and visualization is crucial for my students' understanding in the classroom environment.

My students are English Language Learners and most of them are new to the country.

They need a lot of support to complete their assignments on a daily basis.

Our students come from a variety of different cultures, background, social and economic needs. All of my students speak another language at home therefore they face many challenges when in school especially keeping up with the academic level of school work and other peers.

My Project

I am requesting one Chromebook that I will use for my English Language Learners. I want them to be able to use technology for looking up new vocabulary and research information for their projects. Also my students will use technology to publish their ELA projects using google classroom.

This project will significantly help my students complete their assignments using key vocabulary.

The first and foremost is to give all my students a chance to do research and look up new vocab. They can use headphones to control the volume and not distract other students. This will enhance their learning experience in my classroom.
