My Students

I am very fortunate to be able to teach and help shape an amazing group of transitional kindergarten students! The diversity of socioeconomic backgrounds among these students make our classroom a great environment for many of their first school experience.

Their excitement and eagerness to learn inspire me to seek out new and fun ways to instill learning in our classroom.

They are an energetic, fun, and bright group of children who absorb new information and skills like a sponge. It is my goal to provide them with the best first introduction to school that I can, and offer them a variety of materials to spark their interest and instill a love of learning!

My Project

Learning centers in the classroom offer students exciting and engaging experiences to practice, enrich, reteach, and enhance their learning on a daily basis. These centers are filled with a variety of activities including manipulatives, art supplies, books, sensory items, and much more instructional tools. Students are provided with opportunities to work both independently and with their peers.

In my transitional kindergarten classroom, my students look forward to engaging in these hands-on experiences our learning centers provide each and every day.

The products I have selected will further enhance the learning of my students. The students will be provided with new opportunities to utilize concepts and skills learned, while also using their imaginations to discover new experiences!
