Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Learning Center doubles as a de-stress area, designed to provide a calming environment where individuals can unwind and recharge as they study.

This donation will allow us to have materials that cater to each student's learning preferences.

For example, for those who prefer to study via pen (or pencil) and paper, there will be an assortment of writing utensils and notebooks available. There will also be small whiteboards and dry-erase markers for our more visual learners as well. We are most excited to feature a color printer, allowing for easy access to important documents and assignments, and the ability to drive projects and creative endeavors forward.

The space is further enhanced with a selection of snacks, offering both healthy options to nourish the body. Additionally, a variety of sensory items are available to help promote relaxation and focus, including textured objects, stress-relief gadgets, and calming fidget items. The Learning Center promotes creativity and relaxation, fostering both mental and physical well-being while being an environment that promotes academic success.

Equity Focus
