Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I've included various supplies that will make this year a fantastic one. We are in desperate need of new whiteboards. The ones I currently have are dirty and damaged. They have seen their day! The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in my reading intervention class. The whiteboards will allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.

The materials I've chosen will not only help my 2nd and 3rd grade gifted students but will also help and support my reading intervention class!

I've also included some recess equipment that we are in desperate need of! I think the kids would love to bounce some balls and jump rope. Recess is a big deal to them. Children need time to release their energy so that once they are back in class they can focus on their school work!
