My Project

I would like for my 4th graders to have flexible seating in my classroom. This allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. I’m hoping to use them during small groups and also whenever they choose.

Making students comfortable is an essential component of motivating them.

My 4th graders are markedly more engaged in their classwork when they are given a choice of where to work. The flexible seating that I have chosen will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.

The wobble chairs will allow students to sit at their desks or the horseshoe table but will still allow some movement. The floor seat will be used all over the classroom. Hopefully, this will help to get the wiggles out. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. I am hoping this will create a classroom environment that is more comfortable and fun to be in to learn.
