My Students

I am fortunate to teach an early childhood special education program. My class is composed of 3, 4 and 5 year-olds with a variety of special needs.

Together we discover that we all have something to contribute and something to learn.

Diversity is a strength. Together we have an opportunity to be more self-aware, more open-minded and more compassionate.

I strive to have my students' first school experience be positive, engaging and play-filled. I aim to create a classroom where social emotional skills are emphasized and practiced.

My Project

With the necessary shift to teaching and learning from a distance, I need a means of teaching online that is engaging and interactive for my students. In essence, the Osmo is a digital projector that I can use is so many ways to teach my students.

The Osmo suite will allow me to better teach my students from afar.

Their product is compatible with the iPad I have and can be integrated with Google Meet.

We are all adapting and rising to meet the challenges of teaching and learning online. My students are visual learners and will benefit tremendously from learning online using visual learning strategies and tools.
