This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am trying to get headphones for my students to use with new one to one laptops in the classroom. We were luckily enough to be part of this. This is the first year that we have been one to one.
My students are very eager to learn!
I would like for them to be able to hear stories read to them as they finish their classwork. They are a great group of thankful students that just need little help.
My Project
We do a lot of activities on computers at different paces. My students will be able to hear their own devices and learn at their own pace without disturbing others. We also take assessments on the computer to differentiate assessments for them. Thinking outside of the box by using computers and not just paper and pencils.
We like to integrate as much technology as we can in our classroom.
Having headphones will allow us to do this more. Each student will be able to hear his or her own lesson and move at their own pace.
The students will be able to do programs such as Lexia, Common Lit, School City, Moby Max, and much more.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
