My Project

Our classroom uses a play based model for learning that allows our young 3-5 year olds with certain disabilities engage with their preferred materials and activities to learn about the material world around them but also about social interactions.

Through Legos, I will be able to peak their interests enough to create a conversation for learning.

We also use Legos for building up our motor skills. Like creating tall towers will help with gross motor while taking the individual bricks apart and putting them back together will help build fine motor skills.
