This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is intended for 8th Grade students taking the Living Environment Regents. I want to create instruction rigorous in nature by providing my students with materials like the strawberry DNA extraction kit and a chromebook that will create the content accessible for all, despite their academic level. These materials will also allow my students to make meaningful connections between the content and real life examples, making learning more meaningful.

My students love to be challenged and explore new things, having materials appropriate for their level would open a window to new opportunities and spark their curiosity even more!
