Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarten class is full of eager students! They are full of curiosity and are excited to learn something new. They love to continually be engaged in the classroom!

This year, I would like to focus more on STEM science, technology, and math.

My students love science, especially hands on activities, where they can visualize the experiment and actively engage with other students. I want my students to discover their love for science and math through these hands on labs and activities!

My Project

When students can use hands on materials and be engaged, they have a better experience learning! I like my students to move around several times a day, and with these mobile labs they can work together and move throughout my classroom. I requested various items for science and math, and one reading item, to keep my students excited about learning! We are a STEM designated school, however, I do not have the resources for a STEM curriculum.

I would love for my students to discover their love for science and math through hands on labs and activities!

The books requested teach about science with great stories that rhyme! The laptops will allow students to watch science or math videos and the students will love that they are touch screen. The sight word dots will make learning sight words fun and entertaining!
