My Students

My students are five energetic, fun-loving, kindergarten, first, and second graders. They all have a diagnosis of autism and are working on becoming independent members of their community.

We want to continue our successful learning within our homes!

We had to adapt quickly and efficiently to remote learning due to COVID. Many of our students need face to face specialized learning. My team and I have come up with creative ways to help deliver this instruction through the computer. We need your help to give the students the necessary tools to help them learn at home. We will continue to celebrate achievements no matter how big or small they may be. A little love and someone who believes in them is all they need.

My Project

Adapting to remote learning has been hard. However, these materials will help my students engage more with their teachers. The animal match game can be used to help learn turn taking and students can learn to label the animal sounds. The Zingo game is great for helping my students learn fringe vocabulary. They can verbally label the pictures and improve their social skills while playing the game

Learning at home without motivating materials is hard!

Mr. Potato head and the painting books will serve as reinforcers for my students once they have completed their online work! I will be able to make lessons geared towards the Zingo vocabulary cards my students will receive.
