Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All the students in my school will benefit from the learning garden. The students will work cooperatively in small groups to design our unused courtyard into an active science learning garden that serves the entire school community.

The raised garden beds, soil, and seed will provide opportunities for all the students in our school to learn how to: design, build, plant, care for, harvest, prepare, share and learn about various plants and seeds, as well as nutrition.

Thank you for helping make this dream a reality for so many deserving students. I appreciate your generosity.
