This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello. In this project I am asking for items such as an aquarium and decorations for our future fish pet. My students mentioned the desire of having a class pet in the classroom. I told them I would ask kind donors to help us make their wish a reality, hopefully before the holidays. They already decided it will be a blue Beta fish. Children who grow up with pets learn many useful life skills.

With a class pet, my students will learn responsibility by helping to feed our fish, they will learn empathy, time management, routine, and so other skills.

I can only imagine how excited they will be once we have a fish pet in the classroom.Thank you so much for considering donating to our classroom.
