My Project
We are fortunate to have beautiful new books at our fingertips for our preschool students to look at and listen to. Creating a library where students and staff can find the right book easily is challenging without book shelves where we can see all of our books displayed.
Preschool students will be able to learn how to find books by noticing letters and symbols on the spine of the book that are familiar.
Staff will be able to easily find the book that we want to read right when it comes up authentically while students are learning. Sometimes we want to find one of our hundreds of books to read when a student-led opportunity comes up but we are not able to locate it.
We work to foster the love for reading even before students can read all of the words within our books. Having a large variety of books for students to access easily is key to helping them develop the life long love of reading. We look forward to being able to display books where students can help select what they want to learn about.
