Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting LEGO sets in my elementary school's science classroom. LEGO activities can help students develop essential social skills like cooperation, communication, and patience while fostering creativity and innovation.

Through collaborative building projects, students learn to work as a team and communicate effectively with their peers.

Taking turns becomes a natural part of the process, instilling essential cooperation skills to benefit them in all aspects of their lives.

Moreover, open-ended LEGO exploration stimulates creativity, encouraging students to express themselves innovatively. This can develop a lifelong love of learning as students become more engaged and invested in their education.

Incorporating LEGO sets into my science program, I can provide my students with a fun and engaging way to learn essential life skills that will benefit them for years.
