My Project

We are a Title I elementary school located in the Norwood section of the Northeast Bronx. Our student population is as diverse as our community. We believe that all children should be provided the opportunity to engage in social and cooperative play activities.

Therefore, the items in this project will allow our students to explore and participate in activities that teach the importance of sharing and building positive relationships.

Our students will work in small groups using the magnetic tiles, Connect 4, and UNO cards to learn valuable skills, such as critical thinking, cooperative play, creative innovation, and communication. These skills form the foundation of social emotional learning, which is essential for our students' success in school and overall development.
