Learn to Love Reading With a Leveled Library

Help me give my students a well organized leveled library! I am hoping to foster student independence and love of reading by encouraging them to select their own "just right" books in my library center.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have requested book bins and a mobile storage cart to give my classroom library an organizational and stylish overhaul. I am hoping that a well organized library empowers students to independently choose a book any chance they have time in their day at a level they will be able to read successfully.

My students are so excited to demonstrate their growing reading skills!

The classroom library is one of our most popular centers, and students are thrilled when they find a book they are able to read and enjoy on their own. They are so enthusiastic that our books get scrambled. I would love to give them a well organized and labeled leveled library for their enjoyment!
