Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school in the Bronx. My students live in a low income community. Many of my students are first generation English speakers.

The games I am requesting will help my students learn how to play.

For example, my students will be taught how to respond to a classmate in an appropriate way. Also, they will integrate vocabulary into their turn taking and understanding of what they are doing.

Students learn best from each other. The games will be a wonderful opportunity for my students to gain life skills.
