This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every school year, my grade-level puts on a fun learn like a pirate theme day for our second-grade students. This project will make this day even better by allowing me to give my little learners their very own copy of a Pete the Cat pirate book, have pirate decorations and snacks for the classroom, and pirate themed prizes to use in the classroom while we play games like walk the plank math and learn spelling patterns like our R-controlled phonics lessons.
