Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The majority of our students are English Language Learners and students with disabilities. In our Integrated Co-teaching class, we love that our students are eager to learn. However, due to multiple disabilities, it is difficult for them to maintain focus, drive, and success when they are uncomfortable on the cold floor.

Flexible seating allows a flexible learning space inside the classroom!

When students feel comfortable in their environment they are more likely to access the learning and foster a positive growth mindset.

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them
