My Students

I teach a 3rd through 5th grade special day class. My students are very visual. They love learning! They love to learn today with new technology. They work really hard. I have 17 students with 3 girls and 14 boys.

My students are challenged, but they face those challenges with hard work and a great attitude.

I try very hard to set up my class for the maximum success. Some days are harder than others, but we work together as a class and school to ensure fun and success.

My Project

I will teach my students that computers are not just for games. Most of my students mainstream in the general education for science, social studies, and health. They have to do research for their oral presentations.

It is so gratifying when my students with special needs feel like any other 4th or 5th grader.

They are so eager to learn and do the best that they can. Having these Chromebooks would make that happen. Being able to research information for their science projects gives them a sense of accomplishment. It will also help them get ready for middle school. Thanks
