My Project

Please help support my students- our littlest learners- engage in their academic journey through age-appropriate, play-based learning. Kindergarteners need ample opportunity to move and play throughout their day. Novelty sparks our brain's interest enabling learning to happen. When littles have the opportunity to interact through play, their ability to work with more difficult concepts increases.

Play is the most appropriate way for kindergarteners to encounter and solidify new concepts.

These guided, purposeful play-based games, magnets, ten-frames, etc. will ensure that they get to learn across various modes in math and literacy. Play also gives me as the teacher the opportunity to get to know my students, get them excited about learning, and make children excited to come to school now and in the future. They also develop collaborative, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills as they navigate the games.
