My Students

We're leaping into letters! Kindergarteners need repetition so that they can learn letters and their sounds. Learning about letters is the best part of our day.

My students are kindergarteners who are very energetic.

They come from a high poverty area. We have limited resources at our school and need learning activities to reach our auditory learners. Funding has been cut in our district and many teachers have to compensate for this loss. My students deserve the best materials and a positive learning environment.

My Project

I'm requesting a letter sounds listening center so that my auditory learners can learn the letters and sounds of the alphabet. These resources will keep their attention and create an interest for reviewing basic skills in kindergarten. Learning letters is a very crucial skill for beginning readers.

Learning letters is the first building block that sets the stage to reading.

Many of my students have academic difficulties and are not able to retain information. Although we review letters and sounds daily, I still have many students who struggle with this skill. These materials you provide for our classroom will help meet the needs of all my learners.
