Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My class is in need of the leapfrog books because I have the leapfrogs but just two different books and they get bored after reading and listening to those two books throughout the whole school year. After a while they don't want to use the Leapfrogs.

Without many books for the leapfrogs students are not interested in using them for a long period of time. Therefore,they get bored easily and uninterested about using leapfrogs. If I get more leapfrog books, my students will have a variety of literature and they will spend more learning time with the leapfrogs.

If my students get the necessary copies of the leapfrog books they will be interested in using the leapfrogs. They will have a variety to listen and read about. The titles I need for my students are very tied to the curriculum I am teaching. My students will use the leapfrogs when working in small cooperative groups. One center that I will be able to offer my students is the Leapfrog Center. The more leapfrog books my students have, the more vocabulary they will learn.

All the students I am teaching are English Language Learners and they need to listen and practice reading. Leapfrog books will give them an opportunity to listen to stories and learn about technology at the same time. The population I am serving is mostly Spanish students whose English is their second language. These leapfrog books are very important for my students' learning.
