The students at our school walk into the building every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I always emphasize that they are great kids and that if they work hard, they can do anything.
I teach at a high risk school where 72% of students receive free or reduced rate lunches.
Many of our kids come from diverse homes. Many of the students receive backpack food bags that go home with them every weekend. Despite what our students have to go through on a daily basis, they are eager to learn and do their best each day they walk through our front doors.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We need your help in getting everything through our door. The storage cart will hold all the materials as well as provide easy access for my students. The magnetic letters will be sorted and placed into the bins so everyone can have access to them. As well as the other materials.
By donating to our project, you will not only help improve and increase student reading skills but help keep everything at an easy reach.
