My Project

These books will modernize our female biography offerings and add trendy main female characters to the graphic novel section. Graphic novels comprise 40% of the turnover in books from our collection. The majority of the main characters in these titles are male. A lot of our biography titles are more than 10 years old - older than the student readers our library serves. Learners want to read about current figures in history. Reading about modern female trailblazers will motive female readers to be the best version of themselves.

We focus on Women in History every March .

Requested here are 40+ titles that will help develop our library in empowering a next generation of women leaders. Exposure to this literature with help foster a world view and acceptance of human diversity.
