My Students

Literacy leaders are in the making in our classroom! The students and families are eager learners who need the help of your donations to make the future brighter.

Many of my students come from a struggling economic background with limited resources.

A number of students are new to the country and thrust into a formal school setting for the first time in their lives. We need your help in creating a literacy resource rich classroom to learn how to read!

My Project

My first graders need resources to help them read and write. Many are struggling with basic literacy skills and these literacy centers will be key in small group instruction.

We are in the process of building a classroom full of phonics building skills as many students are struggling readers.

These literacy learning centers will enable these future leaders to build fluency while English language learners can become familiar with a completely new language and alphabet. A book shelf is also needed for organizational purposes for books and literacy centers.
