Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Tennis is an incredible, life-long sport, that gets people moving and helps them make connections with new friends. My fellow coaches and I want to give access to this great sport to as many athletes as we can. Our wonderful town of Lynn, MA is a vibrant and diverse community, but there is limited exposure to the game of tennis.

Our school is a Title I funded school, so many families are economically prohibited from tennis because of the associated cost of equipment and lessons.

With the requested supplies, not only will we be able to equip our players with rackets, but we will also be able to provide better instruction to brand new players using the hoppers. Both our boys and girls tennis teams will benefit from these supplies, so any donation would be welcomed.
