My Students

Passion, determination and perseverance are some awesome words to describe our kids. They love our physical education program and do not let the lack of space or equipment take the joy from their learning.

Through sports our students learn to be caring individuals with sensitivity towards the world around them.

Whether individual, dual or group games our students find ways to stay engaged physically and mentally while motivating their peers to do their best. My students should have the opportunity to grow as critical thinkers and leaders through sports.

My Project

Having one extra portable basketball court is beneficial for our learners. Our students can break into smaller groups to increase activity time. Having one extra basketball court will allow 9 additional students to be able to engage in play, score keep and manage a basketball game!

Having the extra court will also allow for differentiation of activities.

For students who need to continue to develop certain shooting skills it will provide them the additional space for them to continue to practice while allowing the other courts to be used for games.

Providing students the opportunity to increase repetitions will allow them to continue to learn and develop their physical, mental and emotional skills through basketball. The emotional and mental skills developed will translate to better academic achievement.
