Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
These materials will provide our students with a safe place where they can come and relax. The equipment requested will support in creating our calming area. Students can relax in a bean bag or comfy chair. They can even sit on the rug if that is what they choose to do. The air purifier and relaxing tabletop waterfall decor will help them relax and breathe clean air. Other students, they will be able to mediate by deeming the lights and breathing aromatherapy aromas.
Our calming area will be for our students who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and stressed to come and feel safe and be able to decompress.
In our calming area student will have the opportunity to be heard and learn coping skills to help them go through the day.
